Key Club Mrs. Brown Tuesdays (After School)

Join us at Key Club every Wednesday right after school in Mrs. Brown's room (room 307)! Key club provides an opportunity for people to volunteer for their school and community to get service hours for job applications, college applications, National Honor Society requirements, and more! It is a great way to get service hours as well as making you feel good about what you are doing. If you are unsure about this being the club for you, feel free to come say hi at one of our meetings and see what it is all about! You don't have to commit to anything until you are sure it is the right thing for you to do.

National Honor Society is a merit-based honor society that recognizes students who meet high standards and demonstrate excellence in the pillars of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. There are chapters in every U.S. state and the organization has been around for over 100 years. NHS looks great on college applications and opens students up to opportunities to build leadership skills, earn scholarships, and be of service to their community. Students must qualify, apply, and be selected and inducted into NHS (junior or senior year).

Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) Ms. Kenney & SRO Kenney  Typically Wednesdays (Subject to Change)
"""Students Against Destructive Decisions,"" or SADD,  is a national non-profit dedicated to the safety and wellness of all students. Using 40 years of expertise to facilitate educational and engaging programming, SADD operates through school and community chapters (like student clubs) dedicated to advocating healthy decision-making. SADD was founded on the simple philosophy that young people, empowered to help each other, are the most effective force in prevention.

In our chapter, we typically come up with creative ways to spread awareness including (but not limited to) Healthy Decisions Day, Halloween Activity Night, Sticker Shock, Traffic Stops, Memorial Day Parade, Memorial Flag Placement, Social Media Awareness, Guest Speakers, and Camp Kieve trip to plan out the year.
